Frida Paola Altamirano Jiménez obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Universidad Iberoamericana, Puebla and her LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law (ICAL) from Stockholm University. She also attended University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and The Hague Academy of International Law.

Frida worked as an associate at Ramos Ripoll & Schuster in Guadalajara where she advised individuals and business clients on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms. She represented clients in a variety of arbitration proceedings, including those before the Mexico City National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).

Prior to joining the Arbitration Center of Mexico, she was a member of the Mexican Foreign Service and worked at the Consulate General of Mexico in Toronto, Canada and Chicago.


Julián Farías Gutiérrez attended Law school in the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Prior to joining the Arbitration Center of Mexico, Julián worked for five years at one of the most important law firms in Mexico and focused on civil and commercial litigation.

As a law student he participated in the Twenty Sixth Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot that takes place in Hong Kong. He was a member of ITAM’s winning team in the Moot Mexico 2019 organized by the Arbitration Center of Mexico.
